This is a manual task, takes ages, and doesnt create any of the folder structure I'd used for all my other cameras. Downloading using the GoPro's media server / MTP.

Downloading via direct WiFi connection and the 10.5.5.9:8080 IP. Seems to work ok, but may be slightly slower, and requires an older GP. Putting the mem card into my older goPro, and using that to do the xfer.

If anyone has a better solution please let me know. Now I need to remove the card and use a card reader, and then separately plug in the camera to charge it!)īit of a pain, but I thought I'd share with you all. When I imported to Quik I recieved no error messages they simply did not import to the software.

(Previously, I would plug in the GP, start the xfer, then leave it doing it's thing whilst I worked on something else. Apat 2:58 PM Quik not importing video files I've managed to succesfully import all of my footage from my GoPro hero 7 White to the Quik app for Mac except from one specific afternoon of recording. It seems maybe slightly faster than using previous GoPros, but is a lot more cumbersome, as I still need to plug in the GP to charge it. After Ive logged out from Quik and re-logged. Quik is connected with my account, the subscription is valid, the camera (hero9) is uploading the media in cloud, but in Quik, cloud section, I cannot see the new media uploaded after 1/1/22. Quik then recognises the card is from a Hero10, and allows image download directly from the card reader. I cannot view the media in Quik/Cloud, but I can see it in my media/. I've tried several different options, but the one that works best for me is (as others have mentioned) to remove the memory card, and use a card reader. I had been using the Quik for Windows Desktop app as that was what I used on my older cameras, (Hero 3, 4, 6, etc) but when I plug in my Hero 10, it just gives me a blank camera window. I along with many others here have been having issues with my new GoPro 10.
